The Countdown Begins...

One of TK's leading ambassadors, Beckie Herbert, gives us her thoughts on the lead up to the 2012 Olympics.

"It's a huge and very exciting year ahead. 365 days seems like a long time, but it's going to fly by and I'm trying to make the most of every opportunity to make gains in the build up to London 2012. There is a great feeling around the GB women's squad at the moment and with England (the nominated home nation) having now moved to a world ranking of number 4, the world is starting to sit up and take notice of us. It's very competitive for places in the GB squad but I am hopeful that with lots of hard work I will have a chance to make a dream of a gold medal at a home Olympics a reality in a year's time."
